Teddy Bears for Hospitalized Children
Many children have to be in hospital over the holidays, and
dont get to wake up and run to open presents, like most other
children. Instead they feel sick, have to endure painful medical
treatments, and dont get to be home with their families.
For over 25 years, the Theodore Roosevelt Association (TRA), a
501(c)(3), has been providing teddy bears to seriously ill
children that are hospitalized. These teddy bears are something
they can hold on to, they provide comfort and can be a vital tool
the doctor can use to explain procedures and treatments so that
they are not so scary for the child.
How Can You Help?
We desperately need 4,000 bears this holiday season to meet the
needs this year! Every $7 donation brings us one teddy bear closer
to that goal.

the children getting our teddy bears!
